System divider shunts for heating or cooling

TTM Shuntopac® UX 20-200 is a system divider for heating or cooling system used where different media, pressures and temperatures in primary and secondary circuits are desired to be hydraulically separated. Specific applications include plants for ground heating.

TTM Shuntopac® UX 20-200 system divider shunt is available with connection dimensions from DN 20 to DN 200 as standard, delivered with each circuit and heat exchanger dimensioned for the current flow.

The shunt unit can be equipped with several components of any make and a number of different coupling alternatives.

The heat exchanger is mounted at the front of the shunt unit which simplifies maintenance. Designed according to the configuration for each shunt unit.

TTM Shuntopac® UX 20-200 is CE marked in accordance with manufacturer’s declaration 2B according to the Machinery Directive.

The shunt unit is environmentally assessed.

Equipment

1. Control valve
Seat valve with flange or threaded connection of any make and type. The valve is fitted into a flanged joint to facilitate maintenance and replacement.

2. Adjusting valves
2 pcs of optional manufacture and dimension.
Fitted to the pipe mixing loop with flange joints TA STAD is delivered as standard. Also available with dynamic balancing valve, flow regulators or difference pressure regulators.

3. Shut-off valves
2 pcs butterfly valves dimensioned to work as end valves if the shunt group is removed from the system. Mounted in the pipe mixing loop with flange joints.

4. Test sockets
Type TA STAD are attached on each connection.

5. Pump
Optional manufacture and type with “wet” or “dry” motor.

6. Drainage
Design with screwed hose joint R 1/2”.

7. Thermometers
4 pcs graduated 0-120 °C. Mounted in thermowells
6. Heat exchanger
Soldered heat exchanger of any make and type. As standard, the heat exchanger is manufactured by Swep.

Special design

  • Pipe mixing loop made of e.g., copper or stainless steel of the desired quality.
  • Anti-corrosive painted pipe mixing loop, e.g. epoxy enamelled.

TTM Shuntopac ® 20 -200 UX differential pressure measurement

All outside valves on the TTM Shuntopac® U 20-50 V are provided with test sockets, allowing complete differential pressure measurement.
