TTM Energiprodukter TTM Energy Products has a wide range of prefabricated shunt units for heating, cooling and heat recovery, as well as combined shunt units that combine two or more of these functions. By choosing a Shuntopac shunt unit, you get a correctly dimensioned and well-functioning shunt circuit in your system. The range is presented under each shunt type.
All shunt units that are dimensioned and calculated are provided with a product code describing the design and technical specifications. The meaning of the code can be found under “code templates”.
All our shunt units are environmentally assessed.

Shuntopac® EM – shunt units with integrated energy consumption measurement.
TTM Shuntopac® EM is a category of shunt units equipped with ultrasound energy metering equipment according to EN 1434 class 2 and MID 2004/22/EC.
Functions
The integrated energy meter registers energy consumption in the connected control object and the measurement values are stored and can be read remotely.
Advantages
Shuntopac EM is a compact and cost-effective solution when individual energy metering of shunt units is required. The delivery is complete with all the requisite functions. Shuntopac EM is delivered as standard with all connections facing upwards.
Standard version
- Pipe package of fully welded, seamless steel pipes for pressurised use according to SS-EN 10216-2:2013
- Thermal cold and heat barrier to prevent double circulation
- Fire and corrosion-proof housing in metal
- Insulation in mineral wool for heating and AF/Armaflex for cooling
- Installation on wall bracket for suspension or with legs and foot plates for larger and heavier models
- EU declaration according to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, “Partially completed machine”
- Customised solutions delivered to order. Contact TTM for more information.

Equipment
1. Control valve
Can be supplied with or without actuator for desired voltage and signal.
2. Adjustment
valve primary side in a choice of make and dimension, installed on pipe package with conical coupling. Standard delivery: IMI/TA STAD/F. Control valve is supplied with dynamic adjustment valve or differential pressure controller.
1 pc in choice of make and dimension for adjustment and control of the flow in the shunt primary side.
In the “Dynamic” version, the adjustment valve is an extra accessory. In the standard version, this is replaced with a shut off valve.
3. Adjustment valve secondary side.
For control measurement of the flow in the secondary circuit. 1 pc adjustment valve in a choice of make and dimension for adjustment and control of the flow in the shunt secondary side.
4. Pump
Choice of make and type with “wet” or “dry” motor.
5. Measuring point
Type IMI/TA STAD/F, installed on all connections so complete pressure measurements can be carried out.
6. Shut-off valves
Ball valves in dimensions DN 20 to DN 50 with: full throughflow, extended stem or butterfly valve DN 65 to DN 200, designed to function as end valves on the shunt unit. Installed on pipe package with conical coupling or flanges. For environmental reasons, the ball valves are manufactured of brass containing a maximum of 0.2% lead.
7. Thermometers
Graduated 0 – +120 °C for heating and -40 – +40 °C for cooling.
8. Drain plug
with hose screw connection R 1/2” in all low points.
9. Rating plate and flow diagram
10. Energy meter
Siemens UH50 is supplied as standard, either for battery operation or for 230 V. Ultrasound flow meter Qp 0.6 to 60 m3/h. Communication model according to requirements.
For other technical data, see the corresponding Shuntopac standard model.
TTM Shuntopac® U 20-50 EM differential pressure measurement
All external valves on TTM Shuntopac® 20-50 EM are equipped with measurement outlet, allowing complete differential pressure measurement.
B – A Measuring of the pressure difference over the adjusting valve on the primary side. Primary flow can be determined with the help of data for the adjusting valve.
C – A Available pressure difference on primary side.
G – H Pressure rise over the circulation pump.
H – D Pressure drop in connected object on secondary side.
D – E Measuring of the pressure difference over the adjusting valve on the secondary side.
Secondary flow can be determined with the help of data for the adjusting valve.
F – B Pressure drop over the control valve.

TTM Shuntopac® U 20-50 EM
Control valve is installed on the return line.
