TTM Shuntopac 20-40® Komp

Shunt unit with a compact design for heating

Shuntopac® 20-40 Komp is a shunt unit with a compact design for radiator, ventilation and floor heating systems where pumps with a union connection have been selected.

Shuntopac® 20-40 Komp is available as standard with connection dimensions from DN 20 up to and including DN 40. The shunt unit can be equipped with several components of any make and a number of different coupling alternatives.

TTM Shuntopac® 20-40 Komp comes with a fire and corrosion-proof casing made of polyester-covered aluminium sheet with mineral insulation.

The brackets for hanging enables different installation positions. TTM Flexfit connection bends for increased flexibility during installation are available as an option, see page 6.

The pipe mixing loop consists of fully welded pressure vessel pipes SS-EN 10216-2 and DIN 2391. The design of the pipe system creates a barrier against unwanted heat transfer due to double circulation, at specified installation positions.

TTM Shuntopac® 20-40 Komp has a EC Declaration of Conformity according to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. “Partially completed machine.”

The shunt unit is environmentally assessed.

Equipment

1. Control valve
Seat valve with tapped connection of optional manufacture and type. The valve is fitted into a flanged joint to facilitate maintenance and replacement.

2. Thermometers
4 pcs graduated 0-120 °C. Fitted with heat-
transmitting silicon paste.

3. Adjusting valves
2 pcs of optional manufacture and dimension.
Fitted to the pipe mixing loop with conical coupling. TA STAD is delivered as standard. Also available with dynamic balancing valve, flow regulators or
difference pressure regulators.

4. Shut-off valves
2 pcs ball valves with full flow and high spindle neck. The mounted valves made of brass with a lead
content <0.2% have conical coupling.

5. Test sockets
Type TA STAD are attached on each connection.

6. Non-return valve
1 pc. made of brass/stainless steel, with spring-
loaded cone. Fitted into a flanged joint.

7. Drainage
Design with screwed hose joint R 1/2”.

8. Pump
Optional manufacture and type with “wet” or “dry” motor.

9. Labeling / data plate
Data plate with serial number, unit marking, product code etc.

10. Flow chart
Clear flow chart of the shunt unit.

11. Wall bracket
Wall bracket in galvanized steel for wall mounting.

All outside valves on the TTM Shuntopac® 20-40 Comp are provided with test sockets, allowing complete differential pressure measurement.
